At Mount Madonna School, we are deep in the midst of planning our 14th Annual Summit for the Planet, Walk-a-thon and Celebration. We invite you to take part of this extraordinary charitable community event as a sponsor.
This year we continue to focus on bringing together community members and organizations to participate in the Summit for the Planet Walk-a-thon, a fundraising event that allows youth and their families to raise funds for a nonprofit organization of their choice. The walk-a-thon is open to all tax-exempt organizations and participants of all ages are welcome! Participants gather pledges and do a 5K/10K walk along the summit of Mount Madonna and finish up at the Summit for the Planet celebration on the Mount Madonna School campus.
The celebration will include eco-friendly vendor booths, student exhibits, hands-on learning activities, an eco-carnival, live music and much more. Summit for the Planet is becoming the “green” must-do family event in our area!
This event allows you to support deserving organizations in our community while gaining valuable marketing exposure. In the past we have had 500+ attendees of all ages, all of whom are avid supporters of sustainable, environmentally focused initiatives. This audience tends to “put their money where their heart is” too! This year our goal is to have more outside groups participating in the walk-a-thon, which will increase our overall attendance.
As a sponsor, you will receive distinctive visibility with all Summit participants and attendees onsite and through our website and news stories. Specific sponsorship levels and corresponding perks are below. Our event outreach includes:
- numerous print ads in various publications
- comprehensive social media postings
- promotions on local public radio stations
- website linking with participating organizations
Please join us making this positive, healthy, educational, green event a success!
